..... Guilford County Board of Education cuts and runs on the High Point plan. But making everybody happy remains an impossible dream:

"The board will be pulled in two directions. They could keep students as close to home as possible, which will mean Andrews and Central will become increasingly poor.....The other option is to draw lines to create diverse schools. That could mean longer bus rides, which are already unpopular with many parents."

Another interesting election year ahead for the school board.
